A lot of functionality has been added to PetroDE over the past month! Here are some of my favorite new features and ways that I am using them:
-A user can now be logged in on several browser tabs at the same time. Now I can compare two or three different searches, refinements, and graphs quickly by toggling tabs. Or I can have a tab on each screen.
-Links to views: I can find something interesting, document it by saving the view, then generate a link to that view and email it to my team members. The view stays evergreen with data updates, so if something is added to a layer in the meantime, it will show up when that view is turned on, by me or anyone else that has access to it. If your default browser is not Chrome, you or your team members will need to copy and paste the link into the address bar on Chrome.
-Styling layers that have a large number of entries in the column that I am styling on, such as Current Operator, is a whole lot easier now that a filter box has been added to the styling screen. I can type part of the operator name and the results that match are there for me to choose from. It’s now much quicker to style all the variations of operator name the same.
-That annoying flickering that started when WMS layers were displayed along with several other layers is now fixed.
-When you have created a chart, and then done a sub search on that chart, the download from that chart will now reflect just the sub search, not the entire chart. It is much easier now to sift through an area by formation or a certain high IP level.
-If you like to look at the P10, P50, and P90 trends for an area, PetroDE now has more tools at your disposal. Heat maps can now be summarized by P10, P50, or P90 on IHS Well searches.
-Custom Time Series Charts are now available. You can now look at data through time in either a stacked or line format. There are a large number of options here. Contact support@PetroDE.com to learn more!
