ESRI World Topography base will be the default basemap, but there are now 8 to choose from!
You can now choose from a list of 8 basemap layers.
Click on the “B” button below the scroll bar to see the options:
Blue Zoom Bar and Base Layer Link
In the upper right, the zoom bar appears in a blue tint. You can move the slider bar or click on the plus or minus. Using your mouse scroll wheel also works.
The “B” below the zoom slider bar is where you can change base layers.
Scale Bar
The scale bar in the lower left now appears with a rounded number. For example, it will show 200 miles at one high altitude or something like 1000 feet when zoomed in.
Cut Through the Clutter
Closely spaced wells will be easier to distinguish and select. Now it is much easier to choose the well you would like to see: the drop down menu in the upper left of a well bubble lists all the wells under that location. The well bubble you are currently looking at is highlighted in blue. Wells are listed by their well number, and if an additional well label is chosen on the map, that will be in the list also, in parentheses after each well number.
