The following new features were added to PetroDE in the first quarter of 2016:
NEW COLUMNS ADDED TO CHARTS AND HEAT MAPS
Graduated bubble maps have been added to the options in Map Display. For a video tutorial on how to view bubble maps, click here.
BUBBLE MAPS OPTION ADDED IN MAP DISPLAY
To view a search result as a bubble map with graduated symbols in either ascending or descending
order, go to the Analysis panel of the Search tab and click on Map Display and then Bubble Maps. Click
on Custom and select the field you wish to view. Select either Ascending or Descending where
ascending shows the largest bubble with the largest value and descending shows the largest bubble with
the smallest value. Values are proportional to the radius of the bubble. To display labels, tick Show
Value as Label. This example shows a bubble map for IP Boevd21 in ascending order with the largest bubble containing the largest values. For areas with multiple bubbles, only the value for the largest bubble is shown. Zoom in to see the underlying values.
KML DOWNLOAD NOW AVAILABLE FOR ANNOTATIONS
Clicking the new Download button in the Create Annotation window will download a kml file of your annotation to a location on your computer.
