Custom bubble maps have been upgraded to allow the display of two columns at the same time. The first column is displayed by size and the second column is shown with multiple colors. The second column has the option to select from five preset color bars or a custom color bar. The second column also has options to toggle between log and linear and to set upper and lower bounds as either percentiles or values.
For example, to compare normalized IP Oil and IP Water, first select Bubble Maps under the Map Display options. Then select Custom. For the Size by column, select IP Oil (/ft) and choose to display in the default ascending order.
Next, select Multiple Colors to bring up the second column options. Click the lock icon to unlock the column menu and select IP Water for the second “color” column. (Note: the column must be unlocked to select a second column. If locked, the Size by column will be displayed with the color bar selected.) Choose your color bar by clicking on the color bar drop-down menu and selecting one of the five presets. To further customize the color bar, click on Custom. Add colors by selecting the + symbol and remove colors by clicking and sliding them off the panel. Click on any color block to change it. Choose to display as log scale and select the bounds as Percentile (you may also choose Value). Set the upper break to 90 percent and the lower break to 10%. Click the Display button.
In this example, the largest orange bubbles show where there is more oil and less water. The smallest dark blue bubbles show where there is less oil and more water.
