We’ve added some exciting new features to PetroDE recently! You can now upload a geotiff in a zipped file. Now if you have information on a map from a deal proposal or an academic paper, it can be geolocated in a GIS program, and then brought into PetroDE. The deal details or the research results may be easily compared in context with all your other information. A speedy, accurate decision is much more possible when you can look at everything at the same time, all in the proper place.
Another feature to help you identify things more quickly is the addition of standard well symbols to the Map Display options under Analysis. Choose “Common Well Symbols” to turn on these new symbols. If you would like these new symbols to be the default for your IHS Wells layer, contact support@PetroDE.com and we will enable them for you.
